Flipkart, Amazon.com Inc’s Indian unit and Reliance Industries Ltd’s are giving tough competition to each other.

Flipkart’s “Big Billion Days“, styled on the lines of Amazon’s Prime Day, rakes in its biggest sales for the year. The four or five-day long sale usually starts in October for the country’s festive season, which ends with Diwali.

Flipkart said it would also sign up more than 50,000 Kirana, or small grocery stores, for last-mile delivery.

Amitesh Jha, senior vice-president, Ekart and Marketplace, Flipkart said, “We are focused on creating impactful partnerships that offer great consumer experience while creating additional opportunities for the progress of the entire ecosystem as it scales for the Big Billion Days (BBD). By generating employment and enabling our sellers to scale their businesses during this time, we’re doing our part to drive growth in the industry and the economy.”

So that means they will give a great experience with them as well as helping job seekers to get job in Supply Chain. Not only that they are reaching 50,000 + Kirana shops too.
